About lion's mane mushroom powder
Dried Lion's Mane (Gericium) mushrooms are ground using a special industrial (superfine grinding) method until they are practically dusty. This breaks down chitin, releasing a wide range of beneficial substances. Chitin is the main building block of fungal cell walls, which is also what makes up the skeleton of arthropods. If the chitin molecule is not broken down, the beneficial substances remain "locked" in the cell and are eliminated from the body during digestion. Chitin can also be broken down by thermally treating mushrooms: by boiling, frying or freezing them, but the percentage of chitin broken down in this way is very low, so if you decide to use mushrooms as a dietary supplement, you would have to eat an impossible amount of them.
Additionally, lion's mane mushroom powder is dried in a vacuum with constant stirring, which further disrupts the fungal cell walls, increasing the bioavailability of intracellular substances.

Instructions for use: 1-3 g (0.5-1.5 teaspoons) per day. The powder can be consumed as food, added to liquids and drinks. It is worth noting that during heat treatment, most of the beneficial substances are destroyed, therefore, when used for health purposes, it is best to pour the powder with about half a glass of hot 50C-70C (by no means boiling) water, leave for a few minutes and stir before drinking. The powder is not soluble in water. Lion's mane mushroom is recommended to be consumed in the first half of the day, as it activates brain activity and can interfere with sleep if taken in the evening. Lion's mane in powder form is best consumed after a meal (but not necessarily).

How is the best way to prepare and consume Lion's mane powder?
1. Add Lion's mane mushroom powder to a glass (if you have not used functional mushrooms before, we recommend reducing the dosage by half for the first two days so that the body gets used to the functional mushrooms). Add water to taste, approximately 1/2-1 glass. If the taste is intense, add more water.
2. Pour Lion's mane powder with very warm water, 50-70°C. It is better to drink too cool than too hot, the materiality curves drop significantly above 70°C. Dried Lion's Mane is not the most delicious mushroom, so if you still find the taste unacceptable, you can add honey or add mushroom powder to a cup of coffee or other warm drink. The powder is also absorbed quite effectively with various cocktails (especially fermented ones).
3. Wait a few minutes, and stir and drink. The powder is not completely soluble in water. It is recommended to drink it in the first half of the day, before the most mentally intensive period, for example, an important meeting, work, or exams. When consumed in the evening, Lion's Mane can interfere with sleep, people often share more intense and vivid dreams :)
